Together with Kroos. Germany announces bid for March matches

Germany's national team head coach, Julian Nagelsmann, has announced the squad for the friendly matches scheduled for March.

Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos has officially returned to the national team fold. Additionally, newcomers Maximilian Bauer and Alexander Pavlovich have received their first call-ups. It's worth noting that Bayern Munich midfielder Leon Goretzka is absent from the squad, and Nagelsmann commented on this decision.

"Leon's recent performances have been much more stable. Nevertheless, it's also about finding the right players for specific roles. I see two other players ahead of him. For Leon, as for everyone else, no doors are closed due to form and understanding of the role," explained the German national team coach.

It's also worth mentioning that only one player from Borussia Dortmund, namely Nico Schulz, has been called up. Nagelsmann clarified that this is not a decision against the Dortmund team; each player knows what they need to do to earn their place back.
