To Eintracht Frankfurt? Reports Clarify the Future of Al Ahly’s Wessam Abou Ali Amid Transfer Rumors

Recent media sources have clarified the growing speculations that many Qatari and European teams are interested in Wessam Abou Ali, the star of Al Ahly, and his possible exit during the current transfer window.

The most well known speculations connected the palestinian forward to Bundesliga transfer to Eintracht Frankfurt. Reports had suggested that Omar Marmoush, who moved to Manchester City, would be replaced by this potential deal. However, it has become clear that Al Ahly have no plans to let the player leave, despite rumours of elite clubs’ interest in Abo Ali.

Abou Ali's expected to be out of action for two to three weeks, missing important Egyptian Premier League matches against Petrojet, Pyramids and Modern Sport, due to a hamstring injury.

According to report from On Time Sports, the transfer website "Transfermarkt" lists 13% chance of Abo Ali moving to Frankfurt, though Al Ahly has firmly rejected any offers. The club has informed the player that he will stay for the rest of the season.

Abou Ali has participated in 15 games so far this season, contributing 2 assists and 7 goals for Al Ahly, who're presently one point behind Pyramids in second place in the league.

Elye Wahi, French striker, has already been signed by Eintracht Frankfurt from Marseille to replace Marmoush, with deal that runs until 2030. Next Sunday, Frankfurt will play Hoffenheim in the Bundesliga.
