On December 21, Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, will host a mega-heavyweight bout for the WBC, WBO, WBA, and IBO titles. The reigning champion Oleksandr Usyk will face former WBC titleholder Tyson Fury in a highly anticipated rematch.
Details: The "Gypsy King" arrived in Saudi Arabia on December 14 to a warm reception from fans. Walking through the streets, the boxer was greeted by a crowd of supporters chanting his name.
Background: In their first bout, Usyk claimed victory via a split decision, taking the championship belt from the British fighter.
Earlier, Usyk had also arrived in Riyadh to prepare for the rematch against Fury.
Earlier, the full undercard for the December 21 boxing event in Riyadh was revealed.
Recently, DAZN's YouTube channel released a short documentary offering a glimpse into the preparations of both Usyk and Fury for the upcoming showdown.
