"To become a three-time champion". Hearn reveals Joshua's influential plans

Renowned promoter Eddie Hearn has unveiled the next steps and objectives for Anthony Joshua, as fans eagerly await the announcement of his next fight.

Quote. "Joshua's plan hasn't changed. Before retiring, he wants to become a world heavyweight champion again and become a three-time champion, so he will want to go after whoever has the belt. Listen, Joshua will never back down from a fight — he's not that kind of guy. I understand everyone wants to know AJ's next steps, but we haven't talked about that yet.

It's no secret that initially we planned to meet Fury, but he's retired, and now it makes no sense. Of course, there would have been a lot of money and interest from the viewers, but it's too late to speculate about that," said Hearn.

Reminder. Earlier, the president of the Top Rank promotional company, Ben Jacobs, expressed the opinion that a fight against Anthony Joshua might make Fury reconsider his plans to retire from boxing.
