Tinubu Condoles Super Eagles Captain Over Father’s Death

President Bola Tinubu has expressed deep condolences to Super Eagles captain Wilfred Ndidi following the death of his father, Sunday Ndidi.

Sunday Ndidi reportedly died in a ghastly road accident in Umunede, near Agbor, Delta State, on Tuesday.

In a statement issued Wednesday by his Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu said: “I am deeply saddened by the tragic death of Sunday Ndidi… I share in the grief of his family… particularly Wilfred Ndidi.”

He described the late Ndidi as a mentor whose “modest beginnings and honesty” inspired many. The president prayed for comfort and eternal repose.
