Neuer personally announced that he will no longer play for the German national team after this World Cup, and fans shouldn't expect to see him with Die Mannschaft at Euro 2028:
"This will be my LAST tournament for the German national team. I don't plan to take part in the European Championship in two years. I want to look forward to every match and not think about farewells or whether it's my last game." said Neuer.
Manuel Neuer made his debut for Germany back in 2009. He has played 125 matches for Die Mannschaft, conceding 119 goals and keeping 50 clean sheets.
