A remarkable career has come to an end.

Details: Croatian defender Mile Škorić has decided to hang up his boots and retire from professional football.

The main reason for leaving the game was a serious knee problem, which prevented Škorić from continuing to compete at the top level. Throughout his career, Škorić represented the Croatian national team and made a significant mark in Croatian football with his solid performances in defense.

The player officially announced his retirement after consulting with doctors, admitting that recovery and a return to the pitch would no longer be possible.

During his career, Škorić played for clubs such as Rijeka, Gorica, Cangzhou Mighty Lions, Tianjin Jinmen Tiger, NK Zagreb, and Osijek.

Škorić also earned 7 caps for the Croatian national team.
