Details: Today, the official page of Brazilian club Santos on social network X issued a statement announcing that the team's 33-year-old midfielder, Neymar, has successfully undergone surgery on his medial meniscus.

The operation was performed by Dr. Rodrigo Lasmar at Mater Dei Nova Lima hospital, together with his team of surgeons. The procedure involved arthroscopy on the medial meniscus, which had been troubling Neymar recently.

It is reported that Neymar is feeling well and is already leaving the hospital room. His further rehabilitation will be overseen by physiotherapist Rafael Martini.

Last season, Neymar played 28 matches for Santos, scoring 11 goals and providing 4 assists. He also became one of the key players who helped Santos retain their place in the top division.
