Three-Way Battle Ignites Between Al Ahly, Zamalek & Pyramids for Osama Faisal

A major transfer tug-of-war has erupted between Al Ahly, Zamalek, and Pyramids FC over the signature of Osama Faisal, the rising striker of Bank Al Ahly, ahead of the 2025/2026 season.
Al Ahly eye domestic backup for Abou Ali
Al Ahly had already initiated contact with Bank Al Ahly prior to their Club World Cup campaign. The club is seeking a strong local forward to rotate with and support Wessam Abou Ali, given their packed domestic and continental schedule.
Pyramids seek solution amid Mayele’s expected exit
Pyramids FC have now stepped into the race, especially as Fiston Mayele edges closer to an exit after receiving multiple offers from Gulf and African clubs. Faisal is being considered a viable replacement in the attacking line.
Zamalek want to bring him home
Zamalek have also entered the fray, viewing the move as a potential homecoming. Faisal is a product of the club's academy and previously played for the first team before departing in September 2017. With Seifeddine Jaziri struggling for form, Faisal is seen as a much-needed boost.
Bank Al Ahly set firm price tag
Coach Tarek Mostafa has stated he has no objections to Faisal's departure if a suitable offer arrives and the player wishes to move on. However, the final say rests with the club's board, which has set high financial demands for releasing their in-form striker.
