Three top Premier League clubs are preparing offers for Barcelona's young left-back Alejandro Balde. Manchester United, Chelsea, and Manchester City are reportedly interested, according to Diario Sport.
All three clubs are facing issues on the left defensive flank. Chelsea is without confidence in Marcos Alonso, and Ben Chilwell is dealing with recurrent injuries. Manchester United is grappling with persistent problems on the left due to injuries to Tyrell Malacia and Luke Shaw. Meanwhile, Manchester City has been using nominal center-backs such as Aymeric Laporte and Nathan Ake in that position, and Pep Guardiola is reportedly keen on having a specialized left-back in the squad.
Balde is open to leaving Barcelona, having recently lost his place in the starting lineup. João Cancelo has been more frequently occupying his position of late.
