Three clubs are ready to rent the Atletico midfielder, who moved to the club in the winter
Belgium's 19-year-old central midfielder Arthur Vermeeren has yet to secure a regular spot in Atlético Madrid's lineup and may leave the club this summer in search of more playing time.
According to Fabrizio Romano, three clubs are ready to take Vermeeren on loan. Atlético Madrid has received offers from Bayer Leverkusen, RB Leipzig, and Marseille.
The player is open to a move and will soon discuss the terms of the transfer with all three suitors. However, it has been made clear that this would be a simple loan without an option to buy.
Last winter, Atlético signed Vermeeren from Antwerp for €18 million. He was the captain of his previous club and won the Belgian Championship in the 2022/23 season. So far, he has made only five appearances for Atlético.
Vermeeren's contract with Atlético runs until the summer of 2030.
