On the night of Sunday, January 11, the Pittsburgh Penguins hosted the Ottawa Senators, suffering a 0-5 defeat. However, the bad news didn’t end there for one of the Penguins’ players.

Details: According to journalist Jennifer Barrassa, the home of forward Evgeni Malkin was burglarized. Among the stolen items were all three of his championship rings. The back door of Malkin’s house was broken into, and at the time of the crime, the alarm system and security cameras were not functioning. His safe was also found opened.

In other NHL news: A game was recently postponed due to a natural disaster in Los Angeles, where the city was engulfed by a wildfire.
