The CAF Executive Committee will review the bids very soon.

The Confederation of African Football is already busy preparing for the 2028 Africa Cup of Nations. While the 2027 edition will be jointly hosted by Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania, the host country for 2028 has yet to be determined.

However, the Confederation of African Football has already received three official bids following its call for applications. Morocco, which recently hosted the 35th edition of the tournament, is bidding to host the 37th edition. South Africa and Botswana have submitted a joint bid to host the continental tournament. Finally, Ethiopia has applied to host the 2028 Africa Cup of Nations.

It is now up to the Executive Committee of the Confederation of African Football to review the bids and make a final decision.
