The African continent is off to a promising start at the World Cup in the United States, Canada and Mexico. Whilst Tunisia have already been eliminated from the tournament, other nations will continue to fly the flag for Africa on the world stage in the Americas. Morocco, South Africa and Ivory Coast have already secured their places in the knockout stages.
Morocco finished second in Group C after an almost flawless campaign. The Atlas Lions recorded two wins and a draw.
South Africa also secured their place in the round of 32 after finishing second in Group A. The Bafana Bafana recorded one defeat, one win and one draw.
Ivory Coast secured a historic place in the round of 32 at the 2026 World Cup following an impressive run in Group E. The Elephants finished second in their group with two wins and one defeat.
