Thomas Tuchel missed several Bayern training sessions due to a peculiar reason

Bayern Munich's head coach, Thomas Tuchel, missed several training sessions with the team. The German coach was absent from his team's training sessions on the 6th and 7th of March.

According to Bild, Tuchel did not oversee the team's activities during these sessions due to breaking a toe on his foot. This occurred during a motivational speech by the coach before the Champions League second leg match against Lazio.

It is expected that the 50-year-old coach will return to his duties on Friday, March 8th. Tuchel is also expected to be present on the sidelines during the match against Mainz on March 9th.

As known, Tuchel will leave Bayern in the summer. It was previously reported that the coach is considering the possibility of returning to Chelsea.

Bayern Munich currently holds the second position in the German Bundesliga, trailing Bayer by 10 points. Additionally, the team has progressed to the quarter-finals of the Champions League.
