Thomas Partey is set to sign for a Saudi Pro League club
Currently a free agent, the Ghanaian international is said to be on the verge of finalising his transfer to Al-Shabab in Saudi Arabia.
Thomas Partey is set to continue his career in the Saudi league. The Ghanaian midfielder is said to have arrived in Saudi Arabia and undergone his medical in Riyadh ahead of signing for Al-Shabab.
This marks an important step towards finalising his move to the Saudi club. Following this medical, the final formalities are now reportedly underway before the Ghanaian’s signing is made official.
Thomas Partey is expected to sign a one-season contract with the Saudi club. Following spells at Atlético Madrid, Arsenal and, more recently, Villarreal, the Ghanaian midfielder could thus make his debut in the Saudi Pro League whilst playing for Al-Shabab. The 33-year-old is therefore set to take on a new challenge following his departure from Villarreal this summer.
