Thomas Partey Denies Two New Rape Allegations as Court Case Expands
Former Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey has pleaded not guilty to two additional allegations of rape during a recent court appearance in London.
The 32-year-old Ghana international appeared before Southwark Crown Court on Monday, where he denied accusations of twice raping a woman in December 2020.
This development adds to an already complex legal case. Partey had previously been charged with five counts of rape involving two women, as well as one count of sexual assault against a third woman. These alleged incidents are said to have taken place between 2021 and 2022, during his time at Arsenal.
He has consistently denied all charges brought against him so far. With the new allegations now included, the case has expanded significantly and could affect the timeline of proceedings. A trial that was initially scheduled to begin in November this year may now be postponed until January 2027.
