Thomas Partey Could Be Without a Club According to Reports as Reason Emerges

Ghana international Thomas Partey could find himself without a club at the end of the month after reports revealed that Villarreal are not planning to renew his contract.

According to The Athletic, the Spanish side have decided against offering the midfielder a new deal, bringing his one-year stay at the club to an end.

Partey joined Villarreal after leaving Arsenal last summer and made 32 appearances across all competitions during the 2025/26 season.

The 33-year-old is currently facing a Canadian visa issue at the World Cup with Ghana because of an ongoing legal proceeding in the United Kingdom.
