Thomas Partey Alleged Rape Case Reportedly Adjourned to April
The court hearing involving Ghana international Thomas Partey over two new rape allegations has reportedly been adjourned to April 10, 2026, following preliminary proceedings at Westminster Magistrates’ Court in London.
The 32-year-old, who currently plays for Villarreal CF and previously featured for Arsenal FC, is reportedly accused of raping a woman twice on the same day in December 2020. Deputy Chief Magistrate Tan Ikram allowed the initial hearing to proceed without Partey present.
His lawyer, Emma Fenn, told the court that the midfielder intends to deny the allegations. Prosecutor Arabella MacDonald reportedly stated that the complainant came forward after seeing media reports about earlier charges involving the player.
The new allegations reportedly involve a fourth alleged victim and will be heard alongside Partey’s existing case at Southwark Crown Court. Partey has already pleaded not guilty to previous rape and sexual assault charges and remains on bail under strict conditions.
