Bayern Munich star Thomas Müller spent Easter Sunday at the ATP BMW Open final to watch his compatriot Alexander Zverev in action. The German shared photos on his Instagram page.

Müller posted a picture from the stands of the central court and congratulated Zverev on his victory in the caption.

Zverev, who turned 28 on April 20, managed to secure a win over American Ben Shelton in two sets with scores of 6-2, 6-4. This victory earned him €467,485.

"I won an ATP 500 tournament, and I'm incredibly happy with the title and the level I showed. It's been a tough few months for us, but we go through highs and lows together as a team, achieving great victories and enduring bitter defeats. But we have another ten years of work ahead," said Zverev.

It should be noted that this title marks the 24th ATP tour victory for Alexander. He has also claimed victory in Munich for the third time, previously winning in 2017 and 2018. Moreover, this win allowed him to rise to 2nd place in the ATP rankings, surpassing Carlos Alcaraz.
