Koundé sees no point in the third-place playoff.
Details: France defender Jules Koundé criticized the idea of holding a third-place match at the World Cup after the 4-6 defeat to England.
"I believe this match should never have taken place—just like there is no third-place game at the Euros," Koundé said live on beIN Sports France.
The clash between France and England turned into a real goal-fest. The Three Lions netted six and, for the first time since 1966, finished the World Cup with medals.
