"This man should have nothing to do with football." Boban slams Milan president in scathing remarks

Zvonimir Boban is a Milan legend, but apparently not everyone associated with the Rossoneri fully appreciates that.

Details: The former Rossoneri forward was outraged by the fact that club president Paolo Scaroni asked him for a résumé when offering him a job at San Siro. Another Milan icon, Paolo Maldini, was ready to bring Boban on board without any hesitation.

Quote: "Scaroni? This man should have nothing to do with football. He has no idea about football nor about Milan, even if he is a great manager. One day, Maldini and I were at the stadium. Paolo explained to him that I even worked at FIFA, so I could be of use.

But Scaroni asked me... for a résumé. Of course, I told him to get lost, kicked him out of my office, and asked: 'What are you even doing in football?' He replied that he didn't need to know how I make a living. So I answered that in that case, I don't need to respect you. He said this almost out of breath, and I don't think he even realized the weight of his words," Boban stated.
