"This isn’t a show": Simeone engages in indirect conflict with Ancelotti

Recent weeks have seen a public war of words between Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti and Atlético Madrid’s Diego Simeone. The Atletico boss remains convinced that his rivals often receive favourable treatment from referees.

Details: Ancelotti previously stated that Simeone’s comments were made purely for public attention. In response, Simeone suggested that one only needs to observe what happens on the pitch to understand the validity of his statements.

Quote: "I never comment on what my colleagues think. I just rely on my memory. When they were at a different club, they thought differently. If you look at the match against Bayern, you’ll see that the coach’s statements were a reflection of what happened on the field—this isn’t a show," said Simeone.
