Details: According to sports journalist Jim Fletcher on his account on social network X, 39-year-old English forward Jamie Vardy is currently in talks with a new club after Cremonese were relegated from Serie A.
The club in question is reported to be Racing Santander, who will play next season in La Liga after winning promotion from the Segunda.
Vardy's contract with Cremonese expires in a few days and it is clear it will not be renewed.
Vardy joined Cremonese in September 2025 as a free agent. He managed to make 29 appearances for the club, scoring 7 goals and providing 3 assists.
