Third in a year. Lazio got another head coach
Italian specialist Marco Baroni has officially become Lazio's head coach. In a statement of the Roman club it is indicated that the contract of the 60-year-old specialist with the team is multi-year, but the specific line of action is not specified.
In his coaching career, Baroni has led various clubs such as Benevento, Frosinone, Lecce and Verona. It was the last team that was the last place of work of the specialist, with which in the last season of Serie A took 13th place.
Lazio, on the other hand, received already the third head coach for the current year. In 2024, the "laziale" entered with Maurizio Sarri, who was sacked in March. His successor was Croatian specialist Igor Tudor, but he only worked until the end of the season and was sacked as head coach on 5 June.
Despite the coaching reshuffle, Lazio managed to qualify for the European Cup, eventually finishing seventh in Serie A. The next European Cup season will be played in the Europa League.
