French football legend Thierry Henry has decided to step down as head coach of the French youth national team.

According to the French Football Federation, the specialist left his position "due to personal reasons." He coached Les Bleus at the 2024 Olympics and led his team to a silver medal in the tournament.

"I would like to thank the FFF and President Philippe Diallo for granting me this incredible opportunity. Winning a silver medal for my country at the Olympic Games will remain one of the proudest moments of my life.

I am immensely grateful to the Federation, the players, the staff, and the fans for giving me this magical experience," Henry stated.

It is also reported that the president of the French Football Federation, Philippe Diallo, has begun the search for a new coach for the U-21 national team.
