Thief who robbed Raheem Sterling's home during World Cup sentenced to 13 years in prison

The criminal whose actions forced Raheem Sterling to leave the 2022 World Cup has received his sentence, reports The Sun.
According to the publication, Emiliano Krosi, 24, was sentenced to 13 years in prison for a burglary at Sterling's home on December 3, 2022. The break-in led to the theft of items worth approximately £300,000 from the England star's residence.
Judge Catherine Hartley of Guildford Crown Court handed down the sentence, convicting Krosi of 18 counts of burglary, along with 15 additional robbery incidents he had previously confessed to. The total prison term amounts to 12 years and 10 months.
“You are a dishonest and greedy man who willingly and enthusiastically took part in what was a familial, criminal gang. Your greed and your criminality has resulted in a huge toll of human misery,” Judge Hartley stated.
Krosi, an Albanian national, had illegally entered the UK hidden in the back of a truck. Authorities believe he was involved in a spree of 33 burglaries as part of a gang that targeted homes across Surrey from November 2022 to March 2023.
It is suspected that other members of this gang include Krosi's relatives—his father, cousin, and uncle—who are believed to have fled the UK.
