Thibaut Courtois will not play for Belgium in the upcoming matches — what’s the issue?
Belgium are preparing for their concluding matches of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, but they’ll have to do without one of their key players.
Details: Real Madrid officially announced that goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois underwent a medical examination on Monday, November 10. The Belgian was diagnosed with an injury to the long adductor muscle in his right leg. His condition will be monitored throughout the recovery process.
It was also reported earlier that Federico Valverde has sustained an injury to the semimembranosus muscle in his right leg. He too underwent medical tests on Monday, November 10, and will remain under close supervision of the club’s medical staff.
Reminder: The management of the “Royal Club” has made it a priority to secure a new deal for the Brazilian winger. They also believe that Xabi Alonso has mismanaged his season and treated Vinícius unfairly.
