On Sunday, September 29, Real Madrid traveled to face Atlético in a heated derby. The "Los Blancos" lost a narrow lead in the final minutes, finishing the match in a 1-1 draw.
However, that wasn’t the only bad news for Real Madrid that evening.

The Italian manager also mentioned that on Monday, September 30, the Belgian keeper will undergo necessary medical tests to assess the severity of the injury.
On Wednesday, October 2, Real Madrid will play an away UEFA Champions League match against Lille.
Reminder: Atlético fans began throwing objects onto the field. Lighters and other items were thrown into Real Madrid's penalty area, where former Atlético goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois was positioned. The referee decided to halt the match and led both teams off the field into the tunnel.
