Thanks to the Netherlands’ victory over the USA in the parallel fixture, combined with Bangladesh’s win against Thailand, the Bangladesh women’s side has secured qualification for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup, set to take place in England and Wales from June 12 to July 5, 2026.
In two days, Bangladesh will take on Scotland, but with six points from three matches and qualification already guaranteed, the match holds no further tournament significance for the Bangladeshi squad.
