Harry Maguire could be on his way out of Manchester United this summer.

Details: According to insider Nicolo Schira, Manchester United and Maguire have yet to reach an agreement on a contract extension, with his current deal set to expire in June 2026. Despite Maguire experiencing something of a resurgence under Michael Carrick, the club’s management is in no rush to offer the veteran new terms.

Foreign clubs are actively looking to take advantage of the situation. Since January 1, Maguire has been free to negotiate with teams outside England, and his agents have already been approached by representatives from various clubs.

The climax of this transfer saga is expected in March, when a decisive meeting between the player’s representatives and Manchester United’s management is scheduled. That’s when a final decision will be made: will Maguire stay at the club or embark on a new adventure abroad?

It’s worth noting that this season the defender has made just thirteen appearances for the Red Devils across all competitions, registering two goals and one assist.

Reminder: Earlier reports stated that Harry Maguire dreams of ending his career at Manchester United.
