"There's no need to sign 4-5 players": Deco on Barcelona's summer plans

Barcelona sporting director Deco has spoken about the club's transfer strategy for the summer.

Quote: "Summer plans? In our current situation, there's no need to sign four or five players. Right now, we're satisfied with the squad because we have fewer concerns about signings than before. The young players are settling into their roles," Fabrizio Romano quotes Deco as saying.

Reminder: It was previously reported that Barcelona will focus on signing a forward next summer, with Viktor Gyökeres and Alexander Isak among the top candidates.

We previously reported that Hansi Flick has informed Barcelona’s board of his desire to extend Frenkie de Jong’s contract.
