Details: According to iDiski Times, Stellenbosch's 20-year-old central defender Thailon Smith is on the verge of signing with English side QPR.
Reports indicate that the player is currently in England with his new club, undergoing a medical examination before putting pen to paper on his official contract.
Although Smith has yet to make his official debut for Stellenbosch, his performances with the Bafana Bafana U20 national team helped secure the Africa Cup of Nations title, drawing the attention of clubs from around the globe.
