Yesterday, it became known that Tyson Fury sustained an injury during training and is not ready to step into the ring with Oleksandr Usyk. Following this, information quickly circulated online suggesting that the Briton could be replaced by another boxer, with Croatian fighter Filip Hrgovic being named as one of the main contenders to face the Ukrainian.

However, it is now revealed that the organizer of the boxing events under the Riyadh Season series, Turki Alalshikh, has decided to completely postpone the show, where the bout between Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury was scheduled to take place on February 17 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

On his social media page, he posted the official confirmation, stating:

"In light of Tyson Fury's unexpected injury, we wish him a speedy and full recovery.

As a result, the much-anticipated RingOfFire heavyweight show will be rescheduled. Don't worry, ticket refunds are on us.

Stay tuned for updates, and thank you for your understanding and support."

Interestingly, Hrgovic immediately gave his approval for the fight, and after the decision to postpone the show, he may attempt to exert pressure on the organization to arrange a bout with Usyk.
