The fatal car accident happened while the team was heading to an away match against JS Kabylia.

The accident fatally injured assistant coach Khaled Meftah and 27-year-old goalkeeper Zakaria Bouziani, who took part in two games this season.

Ten other crew members also suffered numerous injuries. Their condition has not yet been reported.

According to the source, due to the tragedy, the national football federation refused to hold football matches scheduled for the coming weekend.

In addition, the draw for the Algerian Cup, which was supposed to take place on December 26, will not take place.
