Experienced Real Madrid defender Dani Carvajal has revealed that he is trying to convince Manchester City midfielder Rodri to join the "Royal Club."

"I tell him every day to leave Manchester because there's no sun there and come to Madrid because we need him. He tells me he has a contract... but he would be the perfect option for Real," said Carvajal.

Earlier reports indicated that Real Madrid intends to sign Rodri and Joshua Kimmich as replacements for the retired Toni Kroos.

The 28-year-old Rodri has been playing for Manchester City since 2019. His contract with the "Citizens" runs until June 2027. Transfermarkt values the Spanish international midfielder at 120 million euros.

By the way, yesterday Real Madrid officially announced the date of Kylian Mbappe's presentation.
