Chelsea is eagerly awaiting the outcome of the investigation into Mudryk's case.

Details: According to the Daily Mail, 24-year-old Ukraine national team and Chelsea midfielder Mykhailo Mudryk has chosen to voluntarily undergo a lie detector test to prove that he has never knowingly used any banned substances in his career.

In December 2024, Mudryk was informed of a failed doping test he had taken in November—his sample "A" tested positive for the prohibited substance meldonium. As a result, the player was suspended from team activities. He later submitted his "B" sample, which also returned a positive result.

Currently, Mudryk is training individually and hopes that his suspension will be reduced.

Mudryk transferred to Chelsea in 2023 from Shakhtar Donetsk for €70 million. Since joining the Blues, he has played 73 matches, scoring 10 goals and providing 11 assists.

His current contract with Chelsea runs until 2031.
