There are two options. Atalanta have agreed Lukman's transfer
The situation surrounding Ademola Lookman's future at Atalanta has rapidly turned into one of the hottest transfer sagas of the current window. The Nigerian forward has found himself at the center of attention from two clubs at once—Turkey's Fenerbahce and Spain's Atletico Madrid.
Fenerbahce have already reached a preliminary agreement with Atalanta on the transfer fee—around €35 million plus another €5 million in bonuses. According to Sport Mediaset, the Madrid side have also secured a principal agreement on similar financial terms. The key difference lies in the Spanish club's more flexible payment structure, making their offer more appealing to the Italians.
Lookman himself has yet to give his final approval for the move, especially since the personal terms proposed by Madrid are significantly less lucrative than the package Fenerbahce are ready to put on the table.
