Today, Real Madrid officially announced that club legend and team captain Nacho Fernandez is leaving the Los Blancos as a free agent.
The experienced Spanish defender touchingly commented on his departure from his hometown club.
"There are no words to express my feelings. I always wanted my final as a Real Madrid player to be beautiful and on a high, and I can tell you that a better final than this one is simply impossible," Nacho is quoted by Football Espana.
According to reputable soccer insider Fabrizio Romano, Nacho is moving to Saudi Arabian club Al-Qadsia, who are newcomers to the Pro League.
Nacho Fernandez is a Real Madrid pupil and has never played for other clubs before. In total, the 34-year-old defender played 364 matches for Real Madrid and won 26 trophies with the Royal Club.
In the completed season, the Spanish defender played 45 matches in all tournaments in the shirt Los Blancos.
