He succeeds Olivier Nankam, whose dismissal was announced this Monday 9 March 2026.
This will not be Théodore Ngatchou's first stint as head coach of Fauve Azur in the Cameroonian professional league. He previously managed the club in 2022. His appointment, announced on 9 March 2026, comes at a time when Fauve Azur is struggling in Elite One 2025-2026.
Under Olivier Nankam, who was dismissed for poor results, Fauve Azur recorded two wins and six defeats in eight league matches. The new coach will be tasked with reversing this trend and achieving better results in the Cameroonian top flight. At the head of Fauve Azur's technical staff, Théodore Ngatchou will be assisted by Ngoupeyou Tchatchouang Armand, assistant coach.
