Theo Bongonda’s departure from FC Spartak Moscow was on the cards. With his contract due to expire on 30 June, the Congolese winger has spent several months without seeing any playing time. But his spell in Russia is now coming to an end. The player has announced that he is officially leaving the club where he has played for the past three seasons.
The Congolese player will have to find a new challenge for next season. However, no clues have yet been given as to his future destination. During his time at Spartak Moscow, Bongonda played 75 matches, scored 16 goals and provided six assists across all competitions.
