Barcelona has decided that winger Ansu Fati is no longer part of the Catalan club's future plans, as reported by Sport.es.

Currently on loan at Brighton, the Seagulls also do not intend to purchase the Spanish winger. Fati and his entourage had planned for the player to return to Barcelona after his loan spell. However, the club's management has assured that there is no place for the player. Barcelona is prepared to sell the player, but understands that demand for him on the transfer market will be minimal.

The primary option for the 21-year-old Spanish winger to continue his career is a loan move to a La Liga club. However, no club interested in loaning the player is willing to pay Fati's full salary. Barcelona will have to partially cover this amount. Fati's contract with the Catalan club runs until the summer of 2027.

It's worth noting that Barcelona has recently attempted to snatch Napoli's winger, Hirving Lozano, from English giants and Real Madrid, but it seems that the Georgian remains an elusive target for the Blaugrana.
