The world's sixth seed has sensationally exited in the third round of the French Open


In the third round of the Roland Garros tennis tournament, the world’s sixth-ranked player, Andrey Rublev, faced Italy's Matteo Arnaldi (ranked 35th in the ATP).
The first set was incredibly tense and went to a tiebreak, which was equally competitive. Ultimately, Arnaldi claimed the set 7-6, winning the tiebreak 8-6. In the second set, the Italian encountered little resistance from his opponent and secured a 2-0 lead in the match. Rublev needed to win the third set to stay in the game. Although he started well, he couldn't maintain his advantage. Matteo Arnaldi triumphed 6-4, taking the third set.
Thus, a major upset occurred at Roland Garros as the world’s sixth-ranked player, Andrey Rublev, lost 3-0 to Matteo Arnaldi (ranked 35th ATP) and exited the tournament. The Italian will play against the winner of the Zhang/Tsitsipas match in the next round.
