The 30-year-old American Danielle Rose Collins, ranked 53rd in the WTA rankings, sensationally advanced to the final of the Miami Masters tournament.

In the semifinals, Collins managed to defeat neutral athlete Ekaterina Alexandrova in straight sets. Alexandrova was seeded 14th in Miami and is ranked 16th in the world.

In the first set, Alexandrova took the lead after the third game, winning on her opponent's serve, but then immediately allowed Collins to break back. In the end, the American won with a score of 6-3. Collins started the second set with a converted break point and extended it to a victory with a score of 6-2.

This will be Collins' first final at this level in her career. Previously, her biggest career success was winning the WTA 500 tournament in San Jose in 2021.

In the Miami Masters final, Collins will face Elena Rybakina from Kazakhstan. The match will take place tomorrow, March 30, starting at 17:30 Central European Time.

It's worth noting that the semifinalists in the men's draw of the Miami Masters have also been determined.
