The World Cup final could take place at Camp Nou
The Catalans take pride in their stadium and boldly claim: this will be the best arena in the world.
Details: According to La Vanguardia, Barcelona’s management believes the renovated Camp Nou will become one of the world’s premier venues. This makes it entirely possible for the 2030 World Cup final to be held in Catalonia.
“We are building the best stadium in the world. That’s why we can’t miss the chance to host the biggest match of such a grand tournament as the World Cup. We’ll see how things turn out,” said club vice president Elena Fort.
The Camp Nou renovation includes the modernization of outdated technology and an increase in seating capacity—from 99,000 to 105,000 spectators—which is truly impressive.
This scenario is particularly relevant considering that the opening matches of the 2030 World Cup will be played in Uruguay, Argentina, and Paraguay, while the main part of the tournament will take place in Spain, Portugal, and Morocco.
Reminder: Home ground! Barcelona returns to Camp Nou
