The winners of the freestyle swimming events at the 2024 Olympics have been determined

At the 2024 Olympics, the winners of the freestyle swimming events have been determined. The competitions took place on Saturday, July 27.
In the men's category, the gold medal was claimed by German swimmer Lukas Mertens, who completed the distance in 3:41.78. The silver medal went to Australian Elijah Winnington, while the bronze was secured by Kim Woo-min.
Among the women, Australian Ariarne Titmus emerged as the top swimmer with a time of 3:57.49. Canadian Summer McIntosh took second place, and American Katie Ledecky completed the podium.
Following this, the freestyle relay events were held. In the men's relay, the United States emerged victorious with a time of 3:09.28. Australia finished second with 3:10.35, and Italy took third place with 3:10.70.
The Australian team set an Olympic record in the women's freestyle relay, finishing in 3:28.92 to secure the gold medal. The United States took silver with a time of 3:30.20, and China completed the podium with a time of 3:30.30.
