"I'm not at that level anymore," said Novak Djokovic about the Wimbledon final

Novak Djokovic reached the final of Wimbledon 2024 but lost to Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz. The Serbian tennis player reacted and commented on his performance in the tournament.
"Today, I felt that I was weaker compared to Carlos. He was stronger. That's it. He played every point better than me. I don't think I could have done more. He didn't allow easy points on my serve. He played very variably, serving at 218 km/h – I've never seen that speed from him before. He must have trained his serve very well yesterday," Djokovic stated.
Djokovic added that the Wimbledon final gives him confidence. However, he acknowledged that he is no longer at the level to compete with Carlos and Jannik.
"To have a real chance of winning matches against them in the later stages of majors or the Olympics, I need to play much better than today. And I need to feel much better physically too. I can't say it's the first time I've faced such a challenge," said Djokovic.
Novak also outlined his main goals for the rest of the year. According to the Serb, the Olympics and the US Open are the key tournaments.
