Earthy entered the field in the 82nd minute of the match, but moments after the collision with his teammate, he lost consciousness. After receiving medical assistance using an oxygen tank, the player regained consciousness. Earthy was placed on a stretcher and taken to the hospital for further examination.

"West Ham United can confirm that George Earthy will undergo examination at a London hospital this evening following an incident during today's Premier League match against Fulham," - the club statement said.

The coaching staff expressed their support and stated that the club would provide updates on the player's condition in the future.

"George suffered a head injury. He regained consciousness and was taken to the hospital for further examination," - David Moyes said after the match.
