Cristiano Ronaldo is gearing up for one of the biggest moments of his life—and this time, there won’t be a football in sight.

Details: According to the Daily Mail, Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodríguez are planning to get married as soon as next weekend. The ceremony is set to take place on Madeira—the Portuguese island where the future groom was born and spent his childhood.

British media report that the Funchal Cathedral is reserved for a grand wedding on Saturday, August 8. The lavish reception will reportedly be held at the nearby five-star Savoy Palace hotel, where two entire floors and several bar areas have been booked for the celebration.

The location means a great deal to Ronaldo. The Portuguese superstar was born and raised in Funchal before leaving Madeira to pursue his football dreams at Sporting’s academy.

Cristiano and Georgina met in 2016 and announced their engagement in August 2025. However, the couple has yet to officially confirm the exact date of the upcoming ceremony.

Reminder: Incredible money! Revealed: how much Ronaldo has earned at Al Nassr — the figure is staggering.
