British boxer Dillian Whyte has been acquitted of the accusation of doping. Whyte can now continue his boxing career and negotiate new fights.

The Texas commission conducted an investigation into the matter and announced that the Briton did not intentionally take any banned substances. It is reported that the positive result of the 35-year-old boxer was caused by a contaminated dietary supplement. However, the developer of the supplement did not list the banned substance in its composition.

“My expert view is that Mr. Whyte was the victim of a contaminated supplement that did not disclose [the contaminant] among its ingredients and he did not ingest the [contaminant] intentionally,”the leading forensic expert in the investigation wrote.

Recall that the British star fighter tested positive for doping before his bout with Anthony Joshua in August last year. Due to this, their match was canceled.

It is worth noting that the last time Dillian Whyte stepped into the ring was in November 2022, when he defeated American Jermaine Franklin by judges' decision.
